These bolt down bollards were installed by Collinson Fencing in an Underground Car Park in Eagle Street in the heart of Brisbane City Central Business District, Queensland. The bolt down bollards were installed for parking control in the underground car park as a means of keeping vehicles away from pedestrians.
Bolt Down Bollards
The bollards selected by the client were the Heavy Duty Bolt Down Bollards that are 140mm diameter and extend 1400mm out of the ground. They are securely bolted into the ground at centres to be decided between the client and ourselves to ensure they are as cost effective as possible but still provide the protection required.
The thickness of the bollards is 140mm diameter with a 4mm wall thickness making these bollards particularly stable and secure. They are hot dipped galvanised before being coloured yellow for safety and awareness with a red reflective strip.
Car Park Bollards Brisbane
As mentioned above these particular bollards were fitted in an underground car park but can also be used just as effectively in an overground car park as a means of traffic control in order to keep pedestrians safe in a walking area after they have parked their car.
